Choir Director, Daniel Compher

Our Choir Director, Daniel D. Compher, has served at Seminole for a combined total of over nine years overseeing the church's entire music ministry. In addition to his Seminole position, Danny has served for more than twenty years as Choral Director and Chair of the Fine Arts Department at Chamberlain High School in Tampa.  Prior to this position he taught for seven years at the junior and senior high levels in Jacksonville, FL.  Danny received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and his Master of Arts in Choral Conducting from the University of South Florida. He is active as an adjudicator and clinician throughout Florida. In addition, he has served as state treasurer for American Choral Directors Association, conductor of the University of South Florida Men's Chorus, and currently holds the office of Past President of the Florida Vocal Association. He is a member of Florida Vocal Association, Florida Music Educators Association and Music Educators National Conference.
