Middle School- History of Christianity

Not to be too cliche-ish but history really is His Story (God’s that is). Jesus promised that he would build his church. He promised that when the Holy Spirit came, his people would receive power and be his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. By God’s sovereign power this is happening. In 100 AD there was one Christian for every 360 people on earth; in 2010 there was one Christian for every 9 people on earth (statistic from MTW Church Resourcing DVD). Undeniably, God is building his church. Come explore some key points in history and gain a fuller understanding of God as he has revealed his purpose through the centuries.
